Bridgewater, N.J. (2017) – We are pleased to announce the continued growth and expansion of our Team with the opening of our Bridgewater location on Monday, September 18th, 2017. The location will provide both physical Therapy and Certified Hand Therapy Services.

The Twin Boro Physical Therapy Team providing care is anchored by It’s Regional Director, Jason Eliowitz, DPT, PT, CSCS, and Clinical Director Shannon Welch, DPT, PT, and Cynthia Principato, OTR, CHT

Jason Eliowitz, DPT, PT, CSCS, graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. Jason’s thirst for knowledge led him to Stony Brook University where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating with honors and the distinction of Valedictorian of his class. With an intense interest in the treatment of sports related injuries, and a desire to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, Jason furthered his expertise by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Jason joined Twin Boro Physical Therapy in 2012, after working at a physical therapy clinic on Long Island where he not only gained valuable hands-on experience treating patients, but also acquired key management skills as the Fitness Director. Since joining Twin Boro, Jason served as Clinical Director of our Martinsville location, and has since moved on to Regional Director of our Morristown and Edison facilities. Jason works closely with TEST/Parisi Football Academy and runs the medical integration of their NFL Combine preparation. In this capacity, Jason has rehabilitated current NFL, MLB, MLS, Olympic and Division I athletes. He provides this same level of expertise to many Twin Boro patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

Shannon Welch, DPT, PT, graduated from Elon University with a B.S. in Biology. Shannon’s passion led her to The George Washington University, located in Washington D.C. where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2011. Shannon’s treatment approach provides a strong emphasis on manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and exercise progression while treating post-surgical patients, athletes, and acute musculoskeletal injures. Shannon has extensive experience and training related to the development of pediatric athletic treatment protocols with emphasis an on the youth overhead athlete. In addition, she has extensively provided injury prevention information related to the adult endurance athlete, including running assessment, and orthotic fabrication. Shannon uses strong evidence-based evaluation and treatment techniques, such as the McKenzie Method, Graston Technique, and Functional Movement Screening to provide the best outcomes for her patients.

Cynthia Principato, OTR, CHT graduated from Quinnipiac College with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. Cynthia’s passion led her to pursue her distinction as of Certified Hand Therapist awarded in 1993. Cynthia has expertise in treating conditions of the elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand. She is highly qualified in Custom Fabrication to make splints used to increase motion, protect surgical repairs, or to provide pain relief and stability to injuries. We are excited to have Cindy as part of Team Twin Boro as she embarks on her 21st year with Twin Boro PT!
